The department store group has chosen the ten toys it believes are most likely to end up under the Christmas tree this year and it has selected classics that children's grandparents or even great-grandparents would recognise.
A £59 painted wooden dolls house, Strawberry Cottage; a £25 wooden train set with 50 beautifully crafted pieces, including cranes and trees make the list along with a Jack in a Box, a hobby horse and working, but easy-to-use-sewing machine.
